you probably thought Mark Hamill's career ended with the star wars trilogy, but thats not true, thats impossible! obviously he hasnt been quite as successful as co-star Harrison Ford, but really nobody has been as successful as harrison ford. Mark Hamill actually does a ton of voice acting for video games. heres some stuff he's been in that you might recognize
batman arkham asylum & upcoming arkham city - voice of joker, (i played arkham asylum and after reading that he did the voice you could kind of tell it was him), kingdom hearts (mike is probably the only one of us that played this game), avatar the last airbender, narrator in call of duty 2, wing commander
he even did some voice acting in star wars
That's Mark's voice on the P.A. system announcing that "The first transport is away," in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
It took 3 actors to portray Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings movies. Obviously Ian McKellen was the main Gandalf, but he had a stunt double and one more actor was used to make Gandalf look much bigger than the hobbits. But I bet you didn't know those same 3 actors were used in X-men to make Magneto.No .. Not rly
He also makes money just signing stuff for people at Star Wars conventions.

ReplyDeleteHe kept his Luke Skywalker boots, from the first "Star Wars" movie. When the movie was re-released to theaters in the late 1990s, his son asked if he could wear the boots to a showing. Hamill said no, telling him he didn't think the boy would "get out alive" if fans knew his boots were the originals.
