Friday meme: shut up and take my money
On July 1st, 2010, the “Attack of the Killer App” episode aired during season six of the animated sitcom Futurama. In the episode, the company Mom Industries releases the eyePhone, a parody of the Apple iPhone. When the protagonist Fry attempts to purchase one at a store, he is warned by the cashier about reception and battery life issues to which he interrupts yelling “Shut up and take my money!” while waving several dollar bills (shown at :26 below)

friday meme: ridiculously photogenic guy

On March 31st, 2012, computer programmer Will King took photographs of runners at the annual Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston, South Carolina. King uploaded a set of almost 100 photos to Flickr[4] and Facebook, where one of his friends dubbed the man “Ridiculously Photogenic Guy.” On April 3rd, 2012, King submitted the Flickr photo to the /r/pics subreddit in a post titled “My friend calls him ‘Mr Ridiculously Photogenic Guy’”, which received over 40,000 up votes

On April 11th, 2012, Zeddie Little, who goes by the name Watkins, appeared with photographer Will King on the American breakfast television show Good Morning America.[19] In the interview, Little revealed that the photo was taken immediately after he waved to a friend and commented on his reaction to becoming an Internet meme. He also confirmed he would be running in the New York City marathon for the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health

The fight we have all been waiting for.
Too bad my monkey ass will be getting married @ that time. I say that right after the wedding we just go to my moms house and order this thing. I can tag and bag it later.

Jon Jones is a phenom. Since his fight with Bonner in 2009, he has stopped every opponent he has faced. I can't really say anything more about him that I haven't said in the last year. He's awesome, and I don't think anyone can beat him.
Rashad Evans

I've never been too big on Rashad Evans. He's a good fighter but I never was a fan. His original style was the art of lay n pray. Then he ended up finishing an opponent and he thought he was the next big thing. He ends up almost killing Chuck, beating Forrest (who has always been overrated) and then goes on thinking he was unbeatable. A few months later Lyoto Machida knocked him out cold and MMA Photoshops brought tears of joy to my eyes.
Why will Jones win?
Striking, Wrestling, Reach, KO Power, Submissions, He's Jon Jones
It's hard to figure out his weakness. He's fought wrestlers, strikers, karate guys, BJJ, etc. He hasn't looked weak in any of those fights. Lyoto caught him off guard in the 1st Round but then got choked out in the 2nd. I can see this happening to Rashad.

Rashad has claimed to beat Jones in practice (holding him down for 3 rounds) when Jones first started out @ Greg Jackson's camp. Also Rashad has KO'd and rocked a few guys in the last few years so he can catch Jones with a ghost punch.

His chin is a little weak. Since being KO'd by Machida, he was rocked by Thiago Silva in the 3rd round and was also rocked and almost finished by Rampage in the 3rd as well. Rampage has had trouble finishing his opponents lately but Jones will jump on the opportunity and take out Rashad when given the chance.
Who wins & why?
They say all men are created equal, but you look at Jon Jones and Rashad Evans and you can see that statement is not true. See normally if you go one on one with another MMA fighter, you got a 50/50 chance of winning but Jon Jones is a genetic freak and he's not normal. So Rashad Evans has a 25% chance at best at beating Jon Jones.
But then you add Jones 84" reach into the mix, and Rashads chances drastically go down. See now @ UFC 145, Rashad has a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but Jones has a 66 2/3 chance of winning.
SO Rashad, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus your originally 25 % chance and you got a 8 1/3 chance of winning @ UFC 145.
So now you take Jones 75% chance at winning, and add the 66 2/3 chance / percents, Jones now has a 141 2/3 percent chance of winning.
The numbers don't lie and spell disaster for Rashad @ UFC 145

guy got wamped
I was watching the caps game last night, they lost in overtime to the Bruins. As the Bruins are celebrating, part of the glass falls off the wall and smashes this dude. You can see how heavy the glass must be because it just throws him straight to the floor like Johnny bones will do to Rashad.
Krejci feels the pane, also pain.
"It appears Krejci was OK after all was said and done, but one glance at the photo of Krejci's mishap tells you all you need to know about how worried Shawn Thornton or Brad Marchand were."
No word if the glass received a $2,500 fine from the NHL for smashing into Krejci.
