Kenny Florian dropping to 145?
For a man who started his career @ 185 (The Ultimate Fighter Season 1) this guy just keeps getting skinnier and skinnier. Do I think he'll succeed, yes, will he beat Jose Aldo for the title....no. Also Kenny's biggest problems is with wrestlers.....wrestlers dominate the 155 & 145 divisions. Instead of looking like Skeletor, learn some take down defense.
Fedor Dropping to 205?
Should have done this a while ago. Probably one of the smallest heavyweights ever in MMA, he probably would have dominated both the LHW and HW divisions @ the same time. Think of Randy Couture but the 3.0 version. They want him to keep fighting (other than Nick Diaz, Fedor is their cash cow) so why not put him @ 205 against Hendo? Makes sense.
Nothing really worth watching this weekend.
Bellator is holding their lightweight tournament this weekend with 2 interesting names fighting each other. "Razor" Rob McCullough vs Patricky "The Pitbill" Freire. The Pitbull is somewhat an unknown while Razor Rob was the former WEC lightweight champion....well 3 champions ago (2008.)
Toby Imada (you're probably all saying "who?") is also on the card. Toby reminds me of a Kenny Florian. He tries so hard, and gets so far, but in the end....it doesn't even matter. This guys been in the finals twice (once losing the tournament for the belt, and the other for a title shot.) He's always a fun guy to watch.

i want to see bisping get punched in the face like hendo did to him. i heard that after the last fight they were changing his nickname from "the count" to "the cunt"
ReplyDeletei like kenflo, he was pretty good in lightweight, and we all know he finishes fights at 155, but i think youre right, he will beat the 145 noobs, but get crushed by the elite guys.
fedor is a small heavyweight, if he can make 205 without cutting to much he'll be great.
i'm hyped up for shogun vs jones, i'll be up that weekend to watch with you guys as well.
