Originally I was very interested in seeing this fight because Coenen was going to be fighting Miesha Tate (pictured below)
but Tate was injured close to two weeks ago and now Coenen is now fighting Carmouche.
Now all I'm hoping is for more Miesha Tate pictures.
Melvin Manhoef vs. Tim Kennedy
Originally supposed to be Mayhem vs Kennedy, Kennedy will now face Melvin Manhoef. If anyone remembers Manhoef was having his way with Robbie Lawler for the first 3 minutes of round 1.
Then 1 punch later it was all over.
Still, Kennedy has a great wrestling base...so I think he'll be able to grind out a 3 round decision.
Whatever....Melvin by 1st round KO.
Billy Evangelista vs. Jorge Masvidal - Masvidal by TKO.
Nothing really interesting about this fight. One guy is undefeated and Masvidal is a guy they want to see fight for a title.
Jorge Gurgel vs. Tyler Combs - Combs by Decision
For being a BJJ Blackbelt, Jorge Gurgel has the worst game plan in the world. He decides to slug it out on the feet instead of taking the guy down and working on submissions.
He said he wants his fights to be exciting but usually this happens......
Also Jorge is very upset that he is on the undercard.
