i'm sure we've all seen lord of the rings, basically the whole movie is about walking to mordor, but in the beginning of the movie the one dude says that they have to throw the ring into a pit in mordor. then boromir says "you cant simply walk into mordor" and a bunch of other stuff about how impossible it is. I guess people thought that line was great/ass, so they made it into a meme. it eventualy evolved further and became another meme where frodo says, i will take the ring to mordor
it is believed to have started with "one does not simply drive into mordor"
