ReplyDeleteWhat is there to hate on F&F for? I have gotten exactly what I expected out of every one of those movies.
Entertaining? Check.
Memes? Check.
One liners and quotes to make fun of? Check.
Cool cars? Check. Chase scenes with super unrealistic driving abilities? Check.
As a bonus they even threw in the fucking Rock.
Can you smell what they are cooking? Check.
What's your movie rule? You have to accept the movie's weird rules? F&F rules state that cars can tow stuff, jump stuff, and hit stuff without regard for the laws of friction or gravity and that they have to shift 7 times no matter how fast they have to go.
They keep making them and I'll keep going to see them.
Have you seen the previews for "Raid". Looks great and it's at the movies by us. I'm going to drag Brad to see it. Andi wants to see that shitty planet of the apes movie that has no violence or talking monkeys. I call bullshit.
I just never thought that F&F would turn into a 6 episode saga.

fast and the furious is definitely a saga, if they are counting twilight as a saga, then f&f has to be. its got shitty acting, hot chicks, stereotypes, and more unrealistic action sequences than die hard. mike, i think the problem is you are expecting something different from the movie than what it is. its not a bunch of thieves figuring out clever ways to break into stuff, its about a bunch of cool guys hanging out and driving awesome cars, and they occasionally get into trouble, with awesome results.

But they do plan a clever way to get into the police station and steal the safe........they they just use the Rock to smash their fucking way in. Best of both worlds.
