you guys are probably used to the quality work of chuck testa, but not every taxidermist is of that caliber.
AboutCrappy Taxidermy is a single topic blog that highlights photographs of bizarre-looking or poorly stuffed animal skins. Since its launch in 2009, the site’s popularity has led to the creation of similar online projects devoted to crudely taxidermied creatures.
Origin
On May 26th, 2009, the Crappy Taxidermy[3] Tumblr blog was launched, which highlights humorous photos of taxidermied animals. The blog’s first post featured a mounted squirrel with a menacing expression and sharp, jagged teeth (shown below).

Is this like home taxidermy? I'm not sure that makes it better. It does make it more creepy. I have so many questions.
ReplyDelete1. Have they never seen a squirrel?
2. That is pretty obviously a deer nose either really put on there or chopped on there. That's not a question. So, I'll ask "why?"
3. Why did you kill a retard bobcat?
4. Why does this bear have grandma's teeth?
5. Who shoots a donkey? Where are his legs? Who stuffs a donkey?
6. What the fox?
7. Do you live in country where you can't even look up what a leopard looks like? Didn't they bring you a dead one to begin with?
8. Can you look at any of these at this point and not think "what the fox"?
9. Did they want their pet stuffed and for him to look happy?
10. This might be the best one. Did they ask for the ridiculously photogenic bobcat?
11. Why the long face?
it should have a better name, like crapidermy or taxidummy.
ReplyDeletethe eyes on these things are creepy. they look like a balloon animal that is partially deflated.
