It started as an argument at work over brad's post. Because the aliens don't stick to their rules. One movie they are getting pwned by a single girl with a flame thrower/smart gun. Then against predator they are much smarter, stronger, and stealthier. Also because the black guy always dies, but this one died with a smile on his face and an approved stamp.
I think they played by the rules. There were a bunch of different models. The hunter from Alien 3 was smarter than the soldiers from Aliens. Also, maybe they just behave differently when outnumbered like in Alien and Alien 3.
