	Nice try Lao Che Batman fights Japanese terrorists. Makes sense since it’s just after Pearl Harbor. They didn’t have the budget for a bat mobile, so Batman is chauffeured by Alfred just like when he is Bruce Wayne. And you thought Superman had a lame disguise.
1966	Adam West	Batman (the movie)
	Apparently Batman doesn't believe in cruelty to animals. They would actually tilt the camera when filming the bad guy’s base so it would appear crooked. The movie was popular enough to get it's own tv show from 1966-1968
1989	Michael Keaton	Batman
	Directed and Produced by Tim Burton Warners brothers received over 50,000 protest letters about the casting of Keaton as Batman, and only 1 letter agreeing with the casting. That letter, was from me.  Michael Keaton is already a master of unconventional weaponry.   The list of actors considered for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman is ridiculous. I’m gonna separate it into 2 lists; Possible good batmans and possible joke Batmans. Possible Good Batmans: Kevin Costner, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford (would’ve been a badass batman), Robert Downey Jr., Charlie Sheen (would’ve been a pretty good Bruce Wayne at least), Kurt Russell, Bruce Willis, Pierce Brosnan. Possible Joke Batmans: Alec Baldwin, Emilio Estevez (seriously?), Michael J. Fox (he would always be driving the batmobile at 88mph), Arnold (he was considered for every movie during this time period), Tom Hanks,  Kevin Spacey, and last but certainly not least, Bill F’n Murray (just imagine how awesome this movie would be). The list of considerations for Vicki Vale is twice as long, but I’m just gonna tell you a few that I find interesting: Carrie Fisher, Sarah Jessica Parker (neigh), Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jane Seymour (would’ve liked to see that, since even today she is still kinda hot). Did you know Harvey Dent was in this movie? That’s right, he’s the only black guy in Batman also.      yep, Lando. Deal keeps getting worse all the time.
1992	Michael Keaton	Batman Returns
	Directed and Produced by Tim Burton. Widely regarded as the best batman movie ever made because Christopher Walken was in it. The Producer, Tim Burton actually didn’t like Walken because he said, “That man scares the hell out of me.”     Tim Burton Marlon Wayans was cast as Robin, but the role was changed at the last minute. This sounds like a joke, but is not. The Actor and Actress who play Penguin’s parents are the actors who played PeeWee and Simone from PeeWee’s Big Adventure. Yeah, you read that right.
1995	Val Kilmer	Batman Forever
	Same producer (Tim Burton), new Director (Joel Schumacher) Christian Bale auditioned for Robin, but obviously didn’t get it. Probably because he used his gruff batman voice. This would be the only time Kilmer plays Batman because he had such high demands after this movie. Batman forever was a decent movie, it was even nominated for a couple Oscars, but I don’t think anyone’s gonna be calling it their favorite Batman movie.
1997	George Clooney	Batman and Robin
	New producer (don’t even worry about his name) same director (Joel Shumacher) Widely regarded as the worst batman movie ever made.  Batman from this movie could compete with Daredevil in terms of assness. One of 3 films that feature Arnold and Jesse Ventura (Predator, Running Man) Hulk Hogan and Sylvestor Stallone were considered for the role of Mr. Freeze. At the auction, Batman pulls out his credit card. Its "good until" date reads FOREVER.
“How could they make Batman suck so bad? They need to start over from the beginning and make Batman awesome again.”     - Everyone Well, Christopher Nolan heard your complaints.
2005	Christian Bale	Batman Begins
	Christopher Nolan as Producer David Boreaneanaz was the first choice for Batman. Keanu Reeves (whoa) and Ashton Kutcher were interested before Christian Bale was cast. Ewan McGregor (maybe he means old Ben Kenobi) and Marilyn Manson were considered for scarecrow. Christian Bale weighed 120 pounds after filming his last movie (the machinist) where he played an anorexic character. He gained 100 pounds in 6 months to play Batman. He usually walks around at 185. Christian Bale lost his voice multiple times from doing his Batman voice.
2008	Christian Bale	Dark Knight
	Christopher Nolan as Producer again. As I mentioned in my last post, as the list of reboots gets longer, the title of a superhero movie changes to other references to the main character. Many people thought that having the Joker as a villain would be a mistake because it would be hard to outdo Jack Nicholson’s performance. Many people were wrong.  Heath Ledger was Nolan’s only choice for the Joker. Nolan said Ledger was perfect “because he’s fearless.” The first scene that Ledger had with Michael Caine (Alfred),  Ledger scared him so bad that he forgot his lines.
2012	Christian Bale	Dark Knight Rises
	Chris Nolan has achieved something special: directed 3 movies in a row with the same lead actor.  The CEO of the film’s production company is part owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is why scenes are filmed at Heinz stadium and feature several Steelers players. Dark Knight Rises has a lot of the same actors which is rare for 3 movies: Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy, Gary Oldman. In this film and also in Inception: Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, and Cillian Murphy.
